Advanced Arrest Team 2

Course Description
Students must complete Advanced Arrest Team 1 before registering for this course. Advanced Arrest Team 2 is an eight (10) hour block of arrest team training that focuses on teamwork, tactics, and trauma care. Advanced tactics are explored and extensive role-playing scenarios will be conducted. This course is designed for officers to attend with their respective arrest teams. This class will teach low light tactics, the use of mirrors and cameras, radios, stairs, and response to a critical incident. Appropriate attire and gear include duty uniform, fully equipped duty belt, body armor, and handcuffs with a key. Please leave firearms, live ammo, O.C., baton, and live taser cartridges locked in your vehicle. Inert training aids will be used during practical exercises.
